Our Shea butter essentials line is packed with essential nutrients – a very rich blend that will leave your skin velvety soft, smooth, and moisturized after each use. Our products will enhance your natural complexion and help you glow from the inside out.
We initially started making the body butter using locally sourced and processed Shea butter made by the women in Sierra Leone, about 6 years ago. The body butter was whipped mainly for our immediate and extended family’s consumption.
A few friends, impressed with the quality of the body butter, asked to purchase a few tubs so their families could also try it out. Impressed with its quality and through word-of-mouth, demand quickly grew and the idea of Splendour by Naya was born. At that point, we decided to start making large batches and market our brand. This family only body essential Shea butter is what has now morphed into Splendour by NaYa.
Splendour By NaYa Body Essentials are made with organic products & essential oils and a whole lot of LOVE. The brand was introduced to market in April of 2021 and the demand has been growing steadily since.
What initially started with just the original hand whipped Shea butter, is now produced in larger quantities. We are proud to say as demand grows so has our line of products. In addition to our original whipped Shea body butter, we have expanded our line to include:

At Splendour By NaYa, we are very conscious of air miles and our carbon footprint so we do not source from traders and the open market; instead we have formed alliances with local Sierra Leonean/Ghanaian women and our supplies come directly from these women who purchase directly from select organic Shea farmers. Our apothecary jars/bottles are BPA free and are made of PET plastic.
At Splendour By NaYa, we believe in working with our local women to source the Shea butter free from fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, herbicides etc.
